All you need after two days in a conference room: fresh air and a street art stroll!
Had fun playing with my Lego Serious Play facilitator friends in Chigago the last few days. But two days in a hotel conference room is more than anyone can take. Now it’s finally time to get out, and I really enjoyed a nice walk down the Wabash Arts Corridor today. Wabash Ave in the South Loop is a nice mix of murals made by students from Columbia College and street artist from around the world.
The corridor was launched i 2013 as a promotion of public space as urban canvas. Since a number of new murals have been included in the street gallery almost every year, making it an impressive collection of public art in one location.
The art corridor runs from Van Buren to Roosevelt and has turned the old business loop into a splendent city art walk. Lot’s of galleries and a few nice small shops along the way also.
